These are my forebears. More will be told about some of them in other pages. All will be tied together in some manner. The numbers and the spacing on the pages help to interpret the meaning. I'm number 1. (I'm not bragging. I'm explaining the number system!) My parents are 2 and 3. Their parents are 4 through 7. Each person's father is twice his or her number. Each person's mother is the number after the father's number. Numbers 8 through 15 are my great grandparents. Sixteen through 31 my great greats. Thirty-two through 63 my great great greats. It gets hard to count after about that point unless you're a computer guru accoustomed to counting by exponents of 8, but here's a key:
